How 7 ate 9 © (Short Story with Puns)
There once was a village with an infinite number of residents and houses. They were all in harmony, helping each other, making peace with other villages, and solving problems in the small town. Nine and Ten were all at the park, eating cheeseburgers made from 5’s Burgers.
“Nice to see you again, Ten,” Nine said to Ten, “Did you have to bring Zero though, Ten?”
Ten responded, “Zero would be nothing without me.” Ten then proceeded to finish the burger. Ten looked in the distance and saw Seven. “Oh no, here comes Seven. Does he know he’s not getting our Pi?”
“Hey, guys! I would have brought Imaginary, but he needs to get real,” Seven said while approaching Nine and Ten. “So what are you guys having?” He took a look, “Hamburgers and Pi? Can I have sum?”
Nine gave a death stare to Seven, “You didn’t help purchase this, and you are still not forgiven! Now leave!” Nine shoved Seven away, and continued to eat.
“Big mistake,” Seven snapped while walking away. He ran off.
“Hey guys,” Six jogged up to them, “What’s happening?”
“Nothing,” Nine responded. He gets back up, “Want to come over tonight?”
“Sure, do I need to bring anything?”
“No.”
Nine looked back at Ten, ate t the Pi with Six, and then they all went home. Nine shut the door and headed to bed. In the dark, Seven snuck to the door to Nine’s house. He picked the door lock, walked in, and headed for Nine’s room. “I’m going to subtract you from my life (Math pun).” With a sudden, Nine awoke.
“What the?!” Nine dashed out of the bed, scrambling to the corner of his room. “What are you doing?!” Seven trapped Nine in the corner. Nine started to sweat because of the corner being 90 degrees.
Six walked in, “Hey Nine, where is the- AH!” Six had been at Nine’s house for a sleepover and was now watching as Nine was getting subtracted by Seven.
