Minecraft
Minecraft is a block formation game that is a video game originally created by Swedish game designer Markus (also known as “Notch”) Persson. Minecraft allows players to build constructions out of textured cubes in a 3D-generated world. Other activities in the game include exploration, resource gathering, crafting, and combat.
The gameplay modes are awesome! Multiple gameplay modes are available, including a survival mode, where the player must acquire resources to build the world and maintain health and live on their own. There’s a creative mode where players have unlimited resources to build with and the ability to fly and are able to get any of their gatherings. And adventure mode, where players can play custom maps created by other players. Finally, there is a spectator mode where players can fly around and clip through blocks, but cannot place or destroy any.
Some fun facts are that all cows in Minecraft are female, since you can’t acquire milk from all cows. And as well for the chickens, they’re also all females because you get eggs from them. There are a lot of wacky things that are different than the normal world in Minecraft, including Creepers can climb trees even though they don’t have arms. Or that you can catch more fish when it rains because the water fills the lakes and oceans more.
As you can see, Minecraft is a very unique and fun world, a world that will give people hours of fun. The important thing with this is common sense on your part; don’t let yourself go overboard playing for hours. There’s even a disclosure in the game that says, “Take a break 10-15 minutes” every hour you play. Don’t play if you’re tired or sleepy, and play in a well-lit room. This can be a fun game, but it can become addictive. Make sure, as fun as it is, to send yourself out into the real world for some breathers and activities.
